🇪🇺 🇨🇦 The Danish Canadian Chamber of Commerce is proud to highlight recent milestones in Canada-EU relations through European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada (EUCCAN)’s ongoing efforts to strengthen transatlantic trade and investment.
The EU Day Business Forum—sold out in under 3 days—featured the Royal Danish Consulate’s Karina Bech, Consul General & Trade Commissioner, as a panelist. Discussions centered on building resilient supply chains, advancing CETA implementation, and showcasing successful Canada-EU collaborations.
🔹 EUCCAN’s 2024 priorities include:
• Simplifying CETA access for SMEs
• Expanding trade and investment advocacy
• Strengthening EU-Canada economic ties
Each quarter, three DCCC member SMEs are featured on EUCCAN’s platform. Last quarter’s spotlight included Signifly, Protekta, and FCL Fisker Customs & Logistics. Interested in being featured? Get in touch with us at info@dccc.ca
👏 We also congratulate Ruben Shiffman and Greenland Resources Inc. on securing a 30-year mining permit for the $1.6B Malmbjerg molybdenum project in Greenland —supporting clean energy, aerospace, and defense sectors across Europe.
📣 Upcoming events:
📅 July 21 – EUCCAN Position Paper Webinar (register to join the discussion, link in DCCC events)
🏌️♂️ September 9 – Nordic Consular Cup Golf Tournament - EUCCAN is a special guest!
🇩🇰 And as of July 1, Denmark holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Danish EU Presidency will focus on a secure, competitive Europe, and accelerate the green transition.
