Canada, Martin Roos is an accomplished international leader with expertise in developing and managing corporations in emerging markets with a supply chain and logistics focus. Martin has created a culture of innovation and empowerment, growing DSV Canada to a renowned industry leader in logistics. Over the past 10 years, his focus on building strategic initiatives and strong industry partnerships has put DSV Canada on the global map. With over 22 years' experience worldwide, Roos began his career as a Trainee at DSV's global headquarters in Demark and spent over 10 years in India building his career abroad. His vision for the future remains clear, Aim high, go far!

Anders is the founder and has served as CEO & President of FCL FISKER Customs & Logistics Inc. since 1983, delivering tailored International Logistics and Canadian Customs Brokerage solutions through a global network spanning 600 locations worldwide. A founding director of DCCC since 1992, Anders served as Chairman for fifteen years and continues to contribute as Honorary Chair and active board member. He has also represented DCCC as an Executive Committee Director at EUCCAN since 1995. Since 1997, Anders has been a proud Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador — part of an exclusive global network of 40 influential Danes living abroad, dedicated to promoting Denmark's capital on the world stage.

Mads, based in Toronto, is an Account Executive at Salesforce with over 9 years of proven expertise in scaling tech solutions and driving international business development. Prior to Salesforce, Mads served as Vice President at the Danish company FrontDesk Queue Management Systems, where they spearheaded North American expansion, secured 100% customer retention, and achieved massive revenue growth. Mads specializes in strategic market development, sales and building relationships across industries.

With a national career in Canadian business and deep ties to Denmark, she brings expertise in commercial insurance, business development, and cross‑cultural engagement. Her work supports the Chamber’s mission to strengthen trade, innovation, and community between Denmark and Canada.

As a Manager with EY Canada, Sarah Rude Nordahl Nord is a strategic advisor specializing in cross-border arrangements and intercompany advisory for multinational groups, guiding them through the complexities of global operational structures and multi-jurisdictional compliance. Combining her Danish roots, Copenhagen Business School education, and professional experience on both sides of the Atlantic, she has joined the Board as a natural bridge between the Danish and Canadian business communities. At DCCC, Sarah leads the Young Professionals initiative, connecting the next generation of Nordic professionals across the Greater Toronto Area.

Nicklas Rønning

Managing Partner at Signifly Canada

Nicklas Rønning is Managing Partner at Signifly Canada, where he has led the company’s North American growth since 2018, building its presence in Montreal and Toronto. Signifly is a Danish digital agency helping organizations with branding, digital experiences, product development, and digital marketing. In Canada, its clients include BMO, the Government of Canada, FTQ, MDA Space, and a range of small and mid-sized organizations across sectors. Nicklas grew up in Gentofte, Copenhagen and holds degrees from Copenhagen Business School in organizational communication and innovation management. He moved to Montreal with his Canadian wife to launch Signifly’s hub in Canada and now lives there with his Danish-Canadian family and their two children.

Susanne Truelsen

Digital Health Innovation & Transformation

Susanne is a change managenment professional and leads digital health strategy and implementation projects with Ontario Health to improve patient access to health services and information, reduce administrative burden, and increase system efficiencies and health outcomes in Ontario's health care sector. She has a background in science journalism and has worked for both the Danish and Canadian public broadcasters. Susanne lives in Toronto and is also a member of the board of the Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto, working with both organizations to bring the Danish community together.

Sven Walker

Sven is a corporate and commercial lawyer and specializes in Canadian-European cross-border business. He is legal counsel to many well-known companies from Europe, and advises these companies with respect to the establishment and expansion of their businesses in the North American marketplace. Sven was recognized as a winner of Lexpert®'s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 award.

Helene Scherling Olsen

Senior Trade Advisor at Danish Trade Council North America

Helene Scherling Olsen is Deputy Head of Trade and a Senior Commercial Advisor at the Danish Trade Council in Toronto. Her focus area is on Arctic Commercial opportunities for companies in the Kingdom of Denmark. She has a strong passion for creating networks between the Canadian North and in particular Greenland. Helene has been working at the Danish Consulate and Trade Council since 2011. Helene is a dual citizen of Denmark and Canada - making Canada her home for many years.

Randy Ross

Senior Manager HR Operations at Danfoss Canada.

Randy Ross is Canadian Country Head of HR and North American Compensation Specialist for Danfoss. He brings with him a background in Operations, Warehousing & Engineering Management. With 25+ years at Danfoss, Randy represents Danfoss in several capacities; is an active member of the HR Committee at ElectroFed (Canadian Electrical Manufacturers); has served on the DCCC Board of Directors since 2006, is a former Chair of the board, spent several years as Vice-Chair and is an Honourary Chair of the DCCC.

Darrin Mascarin

Owner & Operator of The Danish Place & Hygge Heritage Catering

Darrin Mascarin is the Owner and Operator of The Danish Place Restaurant and Co-Founder of Hygge Heritage Catering, located at Sunset Villa in Puslinch, Ontario. Together with his wife and business partner, Maria, he is proud to continue the legacy of The Danish Place, a longstanding gathering place for the Danish-Canadiancommunity with roots dating back to 1955.Today, The Danish Place continues to celebrate Danish culture and hospitality while welcoming guests from across Southern Ontario. In addition to continuing the restaurant's traditions, Darrin and Maria have expanded its role as a destination for weddings, catering, private events, and community gatherings. The Danish Place also hosts cultural celebrations throughout the year, including Constitution Day, the Nordic Christmas Market, and numerous community functions. Through his involvement with the DCCC, Darrin is passionate about strengthening connections within the Danish Canadian community, supporting cultural traditions, and helping introduce more Canadians to Danish culture, cuisine, and hospitality.

As a proud Danish-Canadian, I am dedicated to strengthening ties between Denmark and Canada through community engagement and cultural exchange. With over 15 years of experience in human resources, training, employee development, and administration, I bring strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Having lived and worked in Denmark as an Au Pair in Valby and with Alm. Brand in Kongens Lyngby, I have a deep personal connection to both countries. I currently serve as Director and Bazaar Lead at the Danish Lutheran Church & Cultural Centre of Toronto and, as Executive Director & Coordinator of the DCCC, working to foster stronger Danish-Canadian cultural and business relationships.
